It's not me, it's you

I have been teaching from home for almost a year now. I have what some people may say is a pretty good office chair, ergonomic, tilting features, except it’s made for a smaller body.

After 8-9 hours of sitting in this chair, my body would ache terribly. Its arms would dig into my thighs, The seat design put extra pressure on my upper legs. I tried everything, taking breaks, standing, stretching, placing a thick towel underneath me.

I blamed my body, not the chair. I was repeating the same old narrative “There is something wrong with my body”.

I finally decided to purchase a new chair. I researched and researched chairs until I found this one and after a few weeks of debating its cost, I decided to give it a try.

Here is my review:

The office chair is heavy but durable, It took about 20 minutes to put together with help.

What I love:

* The arms do not dig into my body, they are adjustable.

* There is ample space for my bottom, to provide reference I am a size 28/30.

* The back is wide and adjustable.

* After 9 hours of teaching, my body does not hurt.

This is what I have to say to the old chair, “Hey chair, it’s not me, it’s you”.

I hope you have the courage and the means to get what your body needs without for one second blaming your body.
