Auntie Flo - Radio Highlife (Album)

Auntie Flo - Radio Highlife (Album)

Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo is one of the all time great producers of non traditional House. His percussion is flawless and the vocals on his tracks aren’t comparable to anybody else.
He finds some incredible vocalists and bands to sample and feature on his tracks and when I saw his 2018 album was being released by Brownswood, Guaranteed amazing.

This album is just a huge step in polish. While everything he’s released really before this is incredible it’s never sounded anywhere near as polished as this. All the keys and synths are just flawless and the reverb sounds so clean. The drums never hit to high and they never sound to quiet. The mastering on this is just perfect.

This is probably my favourite house music album in years and other then Martyn’s release this year, It’s the only dance album I’ve listened to in a long time that has 0 weak tracks on it. Nothing worth skipping here. Big shout out to Giles. You’re an important one for sure.
